HIP TIPS
What to do to hide the butt? the butt! the butt! the butt! Even if you can’t lose 10 pounds by next weekend to make your cousin Maria’s wedding, there are simple wardrobe makeovers you can try that slim that figure to at least look like you’re a size 6.

HIP TIPS: DO’S & DONT’S
DO wear solid colors such as the slimming black or navy blue
DO NOT wear white, as it will totally show off all your love handles
DO wear vertical pinstripe pants or any pattern that goes up and down since vertical lines give the illusion of a longer leaner look
DO NOT do not wear ski pants, capri pants, ankle-up pants, flat front pants or any pants that chops the body into sections as they make you look shorter and fatter
DO cover the lower torso and butt with longer blazers or suits or shirts with a longer tail
DO NOT wear seamless pants or skirts as they are not a good choice either since they draw attention to the body’s natural lines (if yours aren’t sleek, you dont’ want to go there)
DO wear sheer flowing fabrics such as satin, rayon, viscose with unbroken lines to glide over the bumps in the road
DO NOT wear tight-fitting belts or any piece with an elastic waistband as they draw attention to the hips and lower torso
DO wear Empire or Georgian dresses that emphasize the bust but leave a straight line down the body
One last thing, stay away from bulky tweeds, woolens, even some heavy cottons as they pile it on. Silks, sheers, even polyesters trim it down.
